An open studio for work in progress
thinkr follows a series of experiments in AI workflows, healthcare and architectural planning, and regenerative game design. It records how the work changes while it is being made.
I’m an office design leader at HKS. Design is what draws me in, but I’ve always been curious about new technologies and how they might change the way we work together.
As AI becomes more capable, I’m interested in what happens when human intelligence meets it in a shared design process. How might it help a team build on each other’s ideas, question an assumption or see something they would otherwise miss? The collaboration between people matters just as much as our interaction with AI. We’re still discovering what that could look like, and thinkr is where I explore that meeting point.
I’m also interested in regenerative futures: how the things we design might help restore the world we pass on. I feel we have a responsibility as designers to explore new possibilities and help others understand them. That means making room for people outside our profession to join the conversation.
Through these projects, stories and working notes, I want to make those ideas easier to see and understand. thinkr is a place to try things, share what I’m learning and leave the questions open for others to build on.
Healthcare planning / Collaborative software
A spatial planning canvas where designers can draw, classify, connect and computationally test healthcare layouts. The current prototype brings parametric department generation and same-network collaboration into one shared workspace.
